This is unlike any of the other giveaways I have done in the past. I am giving away a the Blogging for Fishes Cookbook to raise awareness for sweet little Natalie and Alice Fish.


"In 2011 Natalie and Alice Fish were diagnosed with a rare gene disfunction called Leaky SCID {Severe Combined Immune Deficiency}. Their condition is so rare that only two cases are reported in the U.S. each year. Both girls have endured much, and have spent most of their young lives in and out of the hospital due to common illnesses that a healthy immune system would overcome. The required treatment for Natalie and Alice is a bone marrow transplant....a treatment that includes chemotherapy, months in the hospital and quarantine for almost a year. The physical, emotional and financial burden resting on the Fish family is a heavy weight to bear alone. The proceeds from this recipe book will bless the Fishes during this time of need. Ali at Lemon Poppy Inc. decided to take on this project of creating a cookbook to raise money for this sweet family. The cookbook is a collaboration of recipes from over 40 different food bloggers all over the web, including yours truly!
